What is your major and minor?

Journalism major, Sports Media and Promotion minor

What journalism experience do you have, including internships?

Besides from being a Journalism major, I have written for The News Record, and have interned with Hoop Good Media group, a local media group located in Cincinnati. My time with them consisted of covering high school varsity basketball regular and post season games, writing pre/post game articles, and conducting interviews with top players.

What do you love about attending the University of Cincinnati?

Living and going to college in a major city is what motivates me. Being here in the heart of Cincinnati offers endless opportunities for career exploration and personal growth, both inside and outside the classroom. Overall, I love the dynamic and inclusive environment that the University provides.

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?

On the weekends you can find me at Uncle Woody’s in Clifton hanging out with my peers. During the week, my favorite pastime is finding new coffee shops to try downtown and in OTR.

Music?

Being from Kentucky, any chance I get I turn country music on. On the complete opposite side of the music spectrum, I love house and EDM music. Some of my favorite country artists include Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, and Jason Aldean.

TikTok is what 99% of my screentime consists of… On top of that, Pinterest and Instagram are a close second.
